There are typically over 60 bands on four stages throughout the weekend, playing a variety of genres from country to rock and hip-hop. With a party atmosphere and diverse range of entertainment options, it’s no wonder why Texas A&M Chilifest is such an anticipated event each year!

Cherokee Creek

There is typically an all-star music lineup for this festival, but the venue isn’t the best as it’s held in a parking lot.

Arts & Jazz Fest

The Denton Arts & Jazz Fest is an annual event that takes place in the heart of downtown Denton, Texas. The festival has been running for over 20 years, and each year it features more than 50 performers from a variety of genres including jazz, blues, rock, alternative, classical and more.

It offers music fans of all ages something to enjoy with highlights such as the popular UNT lab bands playing jazz standards, and the interactive Kids Corner. Along with some fantastic live music performances throughout the day, visitors are treated to food, drinks and art vendors showcasing their unique works. Saturday night is usually headlined by a national jazz or pop music act. It’s a great way to spend a weekend full of fun, culture and entertainment!

Texas Music Reunion

Countryfest is a multi-day event held every year in October and it’s hosted by the City of Grand Prairie at Lynn Creek Park on Joe Pool Lake. Visitors can enjoy live music from local bands and artists, as well as carnival rides, craft vendors, interactive games and activities for all ages.

Other attractions include a car show featuring classic cars from throughout the state, a kids’ zone with inflatables and more, a petting zoo for the little ones, arts & crafts vendors showcasing handmade items from local artisans, and plenty of food options offering regional favorites like barbecue and Tex-Mex dishes. With so much to see and do at Countryfest in Grand Prairie, Texas – it truly is a celebration of everything that makes our great state unique!

Austin City Limits

ACL is the big daddy! Austin City Limits is an iconic music festival that takes place in the city of Austin, Texas. It began in 1975 and has been held annually since then. It features a wide variety of musical acts from all genres, including rock, country, old-timey and more. The festival also includes visual art installations for attendees to enjoy, as well as food vendors and other activities. It draws thousands of people each year from all over the world who come together to enjoy the incredible music performances and experience the unique culture of downtown Austin.

Texas Renaissance Festival

Texas Renaissance Festival is held in a 16th century village with thousands of costumed characters, hundreds of daily performances, food, drink, games, arts and crafts, and more. Performances include entertainment stages with music, comedy and theater; craft stalls featuring handcrafted items like jewelry and pottery; a jousting arena; themed weekends with exciting shows; food vendors offering traditional fair favorites like turkey legs and funnel cakes; and much more. From unique shopping experiences to educational events like archery lessons, this festival offers a great way to spend time with friends or family for a truly unforgettable experience.

Fischer Fest

Wurstfest in New Braunfels is an annual event that pays tribute to the city’s German heritage. Held every November, this 10-day festival celebrates the area’s culture through music, entertainment, food, and more. Some of the highlights include a German market featuring local craft beer and wines, live music performances on various stages throughout Landa Park, competitions like dachshund races and butchering contests for adults and kids alike, as well as an array of delicious food vendors selling bratwurst and other traditional German fare.
