There are hundreds of cool places to bike in Texas, but the Texas Hill Country offers some of the best biking in the United States. There are miles of empty roads with rolling terrain that cuts through ranches and farms with wildflowers, gnarled trees, rugged rocks, wild and domestic animals and beautiful views. Texas Biking Lodging – Trails, Cabins, Camping, & More
Tyler State Park is one of the best State Parks in Texas and it’s home to 13 miles of fantastic trails (see this trail map), 64 acres spring fed lake, 100 foot tall trees, great campsites, screened shelters, cabins, and lots to see and do nearby.
In addition to biking you can rent a boat, fish, swim in the lake, picnic, geocache, camp, bird watch and study nature.
