Lantana Golf Community is an award winning master planned 1,718 acre golf community located north west of Dallas. When you drive into Lantana you immediately get a sense that this is a friendly, family oriented, and very active community. One of the highlights of the community is the Lantana Golf Club. There are also a number of the homes that line this spectacular 18 hole semi-private course designed by Jay & Carter Morrish. The Lantana Golf Club is one of twelve courses in the United States to host the PGA Tour State 3 Qualifying School. Better yet, they were selected as one of six courses in the United States to host Stage 2. This is where the pros play to qualify for the PGA Tour, you know it is a good course.

Lantana Golf Club has won a number of other accolades including “#2 Golf Course in the Metroplex” according to Avid Golfer Magazine. In 2008, Lantana made the Dallas Morning New’s list of the “Best Top 25 Most Expensive Courses.”

Lantana Golf Club offers you a little bit of everything that makes golf enjoyable. There are some very fun and challenging holes and fairways. The greens that are in excellent condition, rolling hills and some beautiful scenery, plenty of water, and soft fluffy white sand bunkers!

At 7,147 yards from the tips with a slope of 130 and a rating of 74.6, Lantana will challenge the expert players. Meanwhile the average golfers will find the course very playable from the other four tee boxes. There are 90 strategically-placed steep faced bunkers. Mounds and grass swales, water on 7 holes, and the fast greens make for a very enjoyable round of golf.
