Blue River Camp is the perfect place for a vacation getaway with family or friends. Located on the San Marcos River in Kingsbury, Blue River Camp rents glamping tents with two queen size cots with very comfortable mattresses, two fans to keep you cool, and a led lantern. Outside the tent is a picnic table, water spicket, and light.
If you don’t want to Glamp in a tent, then try one of the two air-conditioned cabins. They have one bedroom, a bathroom, and a king sized bed with a fold up queen foam mattress to be set up at night for the kids or extra guests. During the day you can rent a one or two story fantastic tiki cabana with a webber grill, wicker furniture, hammock, and more; an umbrella with chairs right on the edge of the San Marcos River; or a river-side covered picnic table equipped with a webber grill, two chairs, a hammock, two benches, and two side tables. During your vacation you can rent tubes and float in the river (Blue River Camp has a shuttle to take you upriver for a 2 to 4 hour float back to your cabana); play sand volleyball or bean bag toss; relax in a hammock; roast marsh mellows on the large common area fire pit; or put a chair in the river and relax, swim, or fish. |
