If you like beer, then you need to set a goal to visit and sample some locally made craft beer at these Dripping Springs breweries. What’s the brew-haha you ask – well, beer has got to be our official state beverage and there are now 117 craft breweries in Texas and in 2014 they produced 982,918 barrels of craft beer a lot of which I consumed. And it’s good stuff they are brewing!
At the all important Great American Beer Festival in 2014, Texas microbrews bagged sixteen medals. Dripping Springs and Driftwood are home to some of the best breweries in Texas . While you’re there try the Dripping With Taste Trail that you can drive while visiting Driftwood and Dripping Springs and give the Drippings Springs Wineries a try.

Once upon a time two army buddies became partners in the beer brewing business and so 12 Fox was born. This is not just a place to drink beer it is a family fun place where children can play, friends and family can sit at multiply picnic tables and eat at rotating food trucks.
Acopon Brewing Co
At Acopon Brewing Co., English ales are their specialty, but that’s not all. They love everything from hoppy west-coast style IPA’s to big bold Russian Imperial Stouts, and you’ll find them all on tap at Acopon.
Bell Springs Brewing Co
Enjoy a pint or a flight at the laid back house taproom that is family and dog friendly. You can also grab a glass of wine if you would prefer as Bell Springs Winery shares the grounds.

Relax in this scenic hill country, family owned, pet friendly craft business on 15 acres. Family Business Beer Co features live music, a playground, outdoor games, and a food truck.
Suds Monkey Brewing
Come enjoy this perfect stop along the Dripping With Taste Trail. You will be able to taste 14 flavors of fresh, local, craft beer, play some games, and savor NY Style pizza.
Twisted X Brewing Co
This is a family and dog friendly environment with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. There is a food truck and live music on the weekends along with their seven core beers plus specialty beer.
Vista Brewing
Vista Brewing, a 21 acre property, which includes the brewery & tasting room, restaurant, farm, apiary, live music, and lots of event spaces. They offer Vista beer, wine, cider and farm fresh food in a modern ranch style tasting room.
