FootGolf is played with a regulation soccer ball and the goal is to kick the ball into a 21″ cup in the fewest number of kicks! Most FootGolf courses in Texas are set up along side, on, or near a regular golf course. The player with the fewest strokes after 9 or 18 holes is the winner.
What makes this sport popular is that unlike golf, it’s a lot cheaper, much easier and less frustrating, can be played by all ages, takes less time, and since the ball floats you won’t loose it in the water hazards – you just wait for it to float back to shore! And all of the golf betting games can also be applied to FootGolf! Plus you can walk or rent a cart and enjoy a cold beer and reminisce about your game in the club house.
FootGolf Texas is the official State Association of the United States FootGolf Association (USFGA). The USFGA is the largest national FootGolf organization in the United States.

Lewisville Rated 7.5 Stars Lake Park FootGolf plays next to the executive par 3 course at Lake Park Golf Club. The course is lit, par is 28, and the last night tee time is at 8 PM during the week and 9 PM on Saturday and Sunday. The fairways are flat with some gentle mounding that requires you manage during your round. Wind and a lake can cause some problems. The conditions are good. |
