Joe Pool Lake is a perfect place to spend the weekend fishing and spending the night in some great waterfront fishing cabins. These Joe Pool Lake fishing cabins are located in Lloyd Park in Grand Prairie, Texas. In addition to fishing, you can enjoy all of the excellent amenities in Lloyd Park which range from kayaking to volleyball. Joe Pool Lake is rated good fishing for catfish, large mouth bass, crappie, and white bass.

Loyd Park is located on the northwestern shoreline of Joe Pool Lake and the park is home to fishing cabins, campsites, and lots of great amenities. The Park has one and two bedroom cabins that sleep up to six people. Several of the cabins are lake front (just several yards from a nice sandy beach) and most have excellent lake views. Each cabin is fully stocked and some of the amenities include:
Loyd Park has a four lane concrete boat ramp and lots of other amenities that you can enjoy during your stay, some of which include: a roped off swimming area; softball field and volley ball courts; canoe, paddleboard, and kayak rentals and a 4.9 mile paddling trail; camp store with a little bit of everything from RV supplies to cold beer; and multi-use hiking, biking, and horse trails plus a horse trailing parking and primitive camping area.
