If you’re looking for a fun and exciting way to celebrate Independence Day or any other special occasion, I know you won’t want to miss the fireworks show at Hell’s Gate on Possum Kingdom Lake. The fireworks display is set off from the side of Hell’s Gate, and can be seen from miles around. The show typically lasts about 30 minutes and features a wide range of colorful and explosive fireworks.

Words of Advice
There is always a crowd for this event to don’t be taken by surprise when you get there. If you’re in need of cash for the entry fee, there is an ATM in the PK One Stop. There’s also one at a grocery store right next to it that offers cash back (The Trading Post).
There is no access to real restroom so be prepared to use the port-a-potties available on camp. Be sure to be a little early to secure your place in line because parking fills up quickly.
