Colonia del Rey RV Resort – Corpus Christi
Located on the Texas Gulf Coast, Colonia del Rey RV Resort is a full service private park in Corpus Christi. The name “Colonia del Rey” means “Colony of the Kings” and this park is well deserving of that title.
It is the “Highest Rated RV Park” in Corpus Christi, carries the “Best Parks in America” designation, and is ranking in the Top 100 in the US by Good Sam. Trailer Life gave Colonia del Rey an excellent 27.5 out of 30 rating – 10 on restrooms, 9.5 on facilities, and 8 on location!
The owners have made a number of improvements like updating the lots with 50 amp service and concrete pads. The water’s calling. This 1,333-acre park and nature preserve is located at the mouth of the Colorado River on the Matagorda Bay peninsula. Visitors can enjoy miles of Gulf of Mexico beachfront, birdwatching in coastal marshes and paddling through wetlands or riverfront. Tent camping and RV amenities are available for overnight stays. Raintree RV Park is a very well maintained full service private park which is named after all of the Rain Trees planted in the park. This park is Rockport’s best kept secret with abundant nature, two ponds with fountains, and a quite and peaceful setting.The owners have made numerous improvements such as updating sites with 20/30/50 amp service, adding concrete pads, remodeling the restrooms, installing new washers and dryers and installing WI-FI. They are working hard at keeping this park in excellent condition and ensuring that it maintains its high ratings.During the winter months, Raintree has various activities every night of the week which would make it a fun destination for a rally.
