A fun and educational way of taking a walk while experiencing a little Texas history at the same time. The century-old Texas Capitol has long been recognized for the beauty of its grounds. From the earliest plantings, an effort has been made to display a diverse variety of native and exotic trees adapted to Texas. This small forest, while serving its traditional landscape functions, also acts as a useful arboretum for teaching, research, and observation. |
