Texas Soaring

Soaring is a pilot gliding an unpowered aircraft known as gliders or sailplanes while maintaining altitude in the heavier-than-air craft by using ascending currents of air. Here are some locations that will take you on a thrilling soaring ride.

Texas Soaring Association	Midlothian	The Texas Soaring Association (TSA), established in 1947, is a non-profit corporation devoted to motorless flight.
The Heart of Texas Soaring Society	San Antonio	They are a club dedicated to facilitate the art, design, and construction of radio-controlled sailplanes and electric planes.
Faultline Flyers	Austin	A non-profit soaring club north of Austin that offers introductory rides the first Saturday of the month for $60 to $80 for a 30 minute ride.
Greater Houston Soaring Association	Houston	FAA-certified commercial pilots or FAA-certified instructors take you up in one of our two-place sailplanes. You will sit in the front seat of the glider for a thrilling experience
