Camping Information:
Live Oak Ridge Park -This park offers both R.V. and tent camping with water and electricity available at all sites. Gate attendants reside within the park to serve the visitors. This park is well shaded with large oak trees, and campers have access to restroom facilities with showers, a 1-lane boatramp and dumpstation. This park has 48 single campsites and all sites will accomodate tents, R.V.’s, or trailers.
Cedar Ridge Park– This Park offers both R.V. and tent camping with water and electricity at all 68 sites. Gate attendants reside within the park to serve the visitors. Cedar Ridge Park camping area has restroom facilities with showers, a 2-lane boatramp, a fishing dock, a swim beach, a playground and basketball court, and a dump station.
Westcliff Park– This park has 38 campsites, 27 have water and electricity for tent or R.V. camping and the remaining 11 are primitive, tent only sites. This park is staffed with full-time gate attendants. Campers have access to restrooms with showers, a 2-lane boatramp, swim beach, and playground.
Winkler Park– This park has 15 sites with water, but no electricity. There is a camp host that stays in the park year round to serve the campers, and there are restrooms with showers.
Fishing Guides for Lake Belton
Hunting Information:
Certain designated public land at Belton Lake is open for free public hunting. The areas that are open to hunting on Belton Lake are colored in a red/orange color on the lake map, and these areas are labeled as Wildlife Management Areas. Hunters must observe all Federal and State hunting laws and regulations that apply to these public lands with regard to hunting license, season and bag limits. Hunting is allowed from Sept. 1 through the end of Quail season. Hunters are required to wear blaze orange for some of the seasons while in these hunting areas. All hunters are encouraged to contact the Belton/Stillhouse Lake Office prior to engaging in ANY hunting activity.
Boat Ramp Locations:
Sparta Valley– This park has a 2-lane boatramp with free access that is open 24hrs/day.
Westcliff Park– This park has a 2-lane boatramp. This ramp is open from 6:00am-9:00pm daily.
Belton Park– This park has a 2-lane boatramp with free access and is open 24hrs/day.
Arrowhead Point– This park has a 2-lane boatramp with free access 24hrs/day.
Temple’s Lake Park– This park has two 2-lane boatramps. These ramps are open from 6:00am-9:00pm daily.
Roger’s Park– This park has a 2-lane boatramp with free access 24hrs/day.
Cedar Ridge Park– This park has a 2-lane boatramp. This ramp is open from 6:00am-9:00pm daily.
Leona Park– This park has a 2-lane boatramp with free access 24hrs/day.
White Flint Park– This park has a 2-lane boatramp with free access 24hrs/day.
Owl Creek Park– This park has a 2-lane boatramp with free access 24hrs/day.
Iron Bridge Park– This park has a 2-lane boatramp with free access 24hrs/day.
Marina Locations:
Frank’s Marina– This Marina is located at Belton Park off FM 439. This Marina has boat slip rentals, boat rentals, jet ski rentals, snack bar, gas, and covered fishing dock. For more information, contact the Frank’s Marina at 254/939-7443.
Pier 36 Marina-This Marina is located at Cedar Ridge Park off of state highway 36. This Marina has boat slips for rent, snack bar, gas, and Jeff’s Crab Shack restaurant. For more information, contact the marina at 254/986-2466.
Picnicking Information:
Temple’s Lake Park– This is a day use park that has 62 picnic sites with excellent water access as well as a swim beach, restrooms with showers, 2 boatramps with 2-lanes, basketball court, volleyball court, a pavilion for large groups, and playground for the kids. Owl Creek– This park has 10 picnic/camping sites with excellent shade, however, these sites are not close to the water. There is no water or electric available in this park. There is access to restrooms, and a 2-lane boatramp. There is no fee to use this facility.
Westcliff Park– This park has a beach, restrooms, and boat ramp available for day users. For a listing of these prices see the fee schedule.
Miller Springs-This area has 5 picnic/camping sites with excellent shade and good water access to the area below Belton Dam. Water and electric are not available. This park is known for fishing. Swimming is not advised below the dam area due to the hazardous currents and the possible sudden rise in the water level. Vault restrooms are also available. There is no fee to use this area.
McGregor Park– This park has 7 picnic sites with excellent water access, but no water or electric is available at the sites. Vault restrooms and a 1-lane boatramp is available. Camping is also allowed in this park. There is no fee to use this area.
White Flint Park– This park has been renovated in the past few years with vast improvements including screened shelters, full RV hookups, and fully enclosed restrooms and showers. They now charge an entry fee.
Iron Bridge Park– This park has 5 sites with no water or electric. This park has a 2-lane boatramp and vault restrooms also. Camping is allowed in this park. There is no fee to use this area.
Sparta Valley– This park has 2 picnic sites, a 2-lane boatramp and vault restrooms. Camping is allowed in this park also. There is no fee to use this area.
