The Summit Vacation & RV Resort is in a perfect location for a vacation, weekend getaway, or for winter Texans to enjoy the Guadalupe River and Canyon Lake and all that this area has to offer from boating, tubing, or fishing plus golf courses to fun bars to live music and some good restaurants. Plus, within 20 to 60 minutes you can be exploring Gruene, New Braunfels, San Marcos, or the San Antonio Riverwalk.

You've got several nearby choices for good food. Our favorites include: for Italian either Italian Garden Cafe or Gennaro's Trattoria; for Mexican we like Las Barcas Tex-Mex Grill or El Nopalito; for breakfast it's hard to beat Granny D's or the Eggs Benedict at Wildflower; for bar food and burgers you've got lots of choices; and for BBQ and sandwiches with a view of Canyon Lake it's Baja BBQ Shack.
During our stay at The Summit Vacation & RV Resort we played a set of tennis, a game of pool, and lounged by the swimming pool! You may find that there is enough to keep you entertained at the Resort and never leave the property.
As I mentioned, the Guadalupe and Canyon Lake area are fantastic and offer lots of fun things to see and do.
If you like live music the best options are River Road Icehouse, White Water Amphitheater, or the famous Gruene Hall.
