Kemah RV Resort is located about 2.5 miles from the Kemah boardwalk and roughly 30 miles from Galveston and Houston. The park is not on the freeway or a busy road like some private parks, which means it is quite and peaceful. Another advantage of Kemah RV Resort is that you are minutes away for lots of fun things to see and do. The park is set among some talk oak trees and is clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
You stay at Kemah because you want to explore the local area -- Kemah, Clear Lake, Seabrook, Galveston, Houston -- and enjoy all the fun things to see and do. On this trip, we spent Friday night enjoying the restaurants and bars on and near the Kemah Boardwalk. Saturday we biked around Kemah and attended the local event which was a street fair with steel drum bands, arts and crafts, and food. Kemah always has some type of activity on the weekends. You can visit Thank God for Weekends to learn more about what all we did on this trip.
