Review of Hickory Creek Park on Lake Lewisville
Hickory Creek Park is a very clean and well-maintained Corp of Engineer park on Lake Lewisville (read the review of Lake Lewisville) with 124 water and electricity (some 50 amp) and 10 primitive sites plus a group shelter and camping area. Most of the sites have water/electricity, are level, spacious, well treed, and have a view of the water.
The majority of Hickory Creek is along the north shore of Lake Lewisville and a small cove and as such, there is good access to the water.
The park has wide boat ramps with plenty of trailer parking, a single dump station, a roped in swim area with a beach and change house, and clean restrooms and showers.
