Lake Buchanan

Lake Livingston
Lake Livingston is the 2nd largest lake located in Texas & has been called a “water wonderland” a perfect place to relax & enjoy yourself. Lake Livingston has plenty of options for lake-side camping, lodging, and dining. You’ll find good fishing guides, a great golf course, and boat rentals – Livingston has everything you need for a fun filled weekend or longer.
Lake Somerville
Lake Somerville is an 11,000 acre lake with 85 miles of shoreline that is very good for camping, fishing, and water related activities. The State Park has good campsites, there are some private RV Parks, some with cabins and a restaurant, and 13 miles of trails for hiking, mountain biking, or horseback riding.
Lake Texoma
Huge lake with plenty of choices for camping and cabins, plus a good resort, great fishing, and sandy beaches.
Lake Travis
Lake Travis is the second lake in the famous Highland Lakes, which is a chain of 7 lakes that stair-step up the Colorado River from Austin.
Possum Kingdom
A beautiful, scenic, and clear water lake with over 300 miles of shoreline. Something for everyone: good camping, lots of resorts and rentals, skiing, partying, fishing, home sites, or any water related activity.
Sam Rayburn Lake
Sam Rayburn is a beautiful East Texas lake with heavily tree-covered terrain. There are lots of coves for fishing, skiing, boarding, or just dropping an anchor and enjoying the view. You’ll also find plenty of sandy beaches and great swimming water.
Toledo Bend Lake
One of the biggest lakes in Texas (would be the biggest if we didn’t have to share half of it with Louisiana!) – excellent fishing, a great resort, good camping, & very scenic.
