The Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA) parks are perfect for camping, swimming, kayaking, hiking, fishing, boating, and lots more outdoor adventures and activiites. The LCRA provides energy, water and community services for the people of Texas. The multitude of vital services to Texans include delivering electricity, managing the water supply and environment of the lower Colorado River basin, provide public recreation areas, and support community and economic development. LCRA manages more than 16,000 acres of recreational lands along the lower Colorado River from the Texas Hill Country to the Gulf Coast. This 25 acre park offers water and outdoor recreation with 32 campsites and 18 cabins is great for rental facilities and group activities.

Because of the location of this 940 acre park it is a refuge for endangered species and sightings of a variety of wildlife. There are 61 guest rooms plus RV and campsites.

This 40 acre park sitting on the north end of Lake Travis provides a great spot for fishing, kayaking and swimming then camping in one of their 16 campsites.

If you enjoy fishing, canoeing/kayaking and picnicking then this 540 acre day-use park is ideal with its mile long shoreline.

1,333-acre park and nature preserve that is located at the mouth of the Colorado River on the Matagorda Bay peninsula. Full hook-up, waterfront, and pull through sites plus kayak rentals, bird watching, fishing, swimming, and lots more.
