Rating and Review of Braunig Lake RV Resort in Elmedorf
Conveniently located on I-37 freeway about 20 minutes south of downtown San Antonio, Braunig Lake RV Resort is a great place to stay to explore San Antonio, attend some of the nearby annual festivals, or just camp and relax for a weekend. The park has 266 full hook-up sites and lots of amenities including a 5 acre fishing lake.
Braunig Lake RV Resort is on the I-37 frontage road which makes access to and from the Park very easy. All of the roads within the Park are paved or crushed stone, and each site has a level parking pad. Big rigs shouldn’t have any trouble maneuvering through the Park. Most of the sites are open and not shaded – a few have some trees providing limited shade.
If you don’t have enough room in your RV for friends or family, then the 4 cabins are perfect or adjacent to Braunig Lake RV Resort is a hotel with 63 rooms.
In the center of Braunig Lake RV Resort is a 5 acre lake with the rec center at one end, the cabins at the other end, and the office and RV sites on two sides.
Braunig Lake RV Resort is very well maintained and all of the facilities are spotless. We also like the individual private showers which include a sink, mirror, seat, and toilet. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
