Review of Rio Guadalupe Resort
Situated along the banks of the scenic Guadalupe River is a very nice 25 acre RV Park, Rio Guadalupe Resort . Rio Guadalupe Resort has RV sites with full hookups, cabins along the bank of the river, a country store, river front condos for sale, and a complete rafting operation. They have a very beautiful quarter mile of river frontage that is heavily treed and great for enjoying the river, relaxing, or watching the thousands of tubers float by.
The typical site is 20’x70′ and up to 25’x80′ – big enough to accommodate any size rig. The roads are wide enough for big rigs and maneuvering into any of the sites is easy. Small pets are allowed from October through March only.
Rio Guadalupe Resort is a great place to spend a weekend or longer if you want to enjoy the river or explore the local area. The park is well maintained and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The roads and sites are gravel and level. A security guard helps protect your privacy and prevents overcrowding. There are extra charges for additional people at your site over two.
Rio Guadalupe Resort has been kind enough to offer Texas Outside visitors a 20% discount on camping – check out their coupon.

One of the reasons we like to stay at Rio Guadalupe Resort is because they have a complete tube, raft, inflatable canoe, and sit-on-top kayak rental business. They will shuttle you up river and you can float the river, enjoying the scenery, the crowds, and your buds, and end up right back where you started. What a great way to spend a few hours.
Rio Raft is a perfect place to stay and enjoy all of the other fun things to see and do in the area. We love playing in the Guadalupe River and we will occasionally bring the boat and spend time on beautiful Canyon Lake which is 10 minutes away or bring the clubs for a round of golf at Canyon Lake Golf Course. Depending on who is playing, we will stop in for some music at River Road Ice House or White Water Amphitheater. On most Saturdays during the summer, there is live music on the bank of the river at Rio Guadalupe Resort. ,
In addition to toobing the river, here is our list of favorite things to do when you stay at Rio Raft:
