Lake Texoma Golf Resort

This course is closed.  Pointe Vista has purchased the lannd and leveled the course.  In 2010, they were keeping Chickasaw Pointe open and planned on building two more golf courses and eventually closing Chickasaw Pointe.

Lake Texoma Golf Course is within Lake Texoma State Park and owned by the State of Oklahoma – as such it is inexpensive, not in the best of condition, and the facilities are very poor (premade sandwiches, dirty bathrooms, no real proshop, and most of the equipment is in need of some maintenance). However the font nine is fun and in pretty good shape and offers a lot of variety, some up and down holes, narrow tree lined fairways, and a couple of blind shots. The back nine of Lake Texoma Golf Course is ok but it is relatively flat, not as pretty or challenging, and doesn’t offer the variety of the front nine. If you are in the area, this course is worth playing.
