As we were getting ready to play, some other golfers in the parking lot told us that Cross Timbers was in pretty bad shape and had been neglected over the last year. Most of that was true –the greens are in really bad shape, the carts need work, and the fairways are not in very good condition. Cross Timbers does have a few fun holes with some variety, elevation changes and dog legs, but most of the holes are side by side, straight, and boring. The condition is reflected in the price, which is low
