This 114-acre facility has many amenities for the outdoor enthusiasts such as a softball field, a basketball pavilion, 2 tennis courts, a small barbecue pavilion, a large barbecue pavilion, eight RV/camper hook-ups, three tent camping sites, 1 primitive camping area, a playground, trails, picnic tables, barbecue grills, an archery range, a sand volleyball court, and a rest room/shower pavilion. The park is situated on the banks of Spring Creek. |

Schreiner offers campsites under the trees and some near the water. Also available are spigots that are easily accessible, a bathroom, seasonal pool, disc golf course, basketball court, and grills. The city park is walking distance to downtown and you’ll enjoy eating at the local BBQ. |

Fort Anahuac offers waterfront camping where you can fish from the lighted pier, play ball in the park, bird watching in the marshes, or simply stretch out and relax. This 40 acre park has tent and RV sites and RVs must be self contained – there are no bathroom facilities. The park also has trash cans located throughout the grounds. |

It’s nice to camp on the beach and watch the waves roll into your âfront yard.â It has no hook ups but they do have bathroom & shower facility. It’s very peaceful, clean and not very crowded. It might get a little windy during your stay. This is definitely peaceful beach camping with enough space to spread out and have some privacy.

You can stay here for free for 72 hours, then you pay $10 a night for a sith with water and electricity. The Park has a dump station, publc restrooms nearby, and a kids playground. |
North Beach Padre Island National Seashore

This is great unique camping overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. You must monitor high tide and be ok with getting your RV salty. A few miles in the park you can dump and there is water at the entrance to Malequite Campground. There are also free showers at the park headquarters. |

Bolivar Flats is very much like North Beach but closer access to town just outside of Galveston. The sand is hard packed which makes it easy for RVs and travel trailers to drive and park on the sand. |

Silverton Municipal Park Siverton |
Sliverton Municipal Park is in the town of Silverton (population less than 1000) which is a charming spot to enjoy some great mom and pop restaurants such as Something Different by Kay. The park provides free electricity and water!
