The 4 group camping sites available at Rio Grande Village are for groups of a minimum of 9 persons to a maximum of 20 persons in sites A and B and a maximum of 40 persons in sites C and D. These group sites are on a reservation basis only and are subject to certain regulations or conditions. The group campsites are for tent camping only – no RVs or trailers. The fee for these sites is $3.00 per person per night, and the sites may be reserved 360 days in advance by contacting Recreation.gov online or by calling 1-877-444-6777. Reservations for group sites must be made at least 4 days in advance. There are no hook-ups available in the group sites. Each site is provided with a picnic table, charcoal grill (wood fires are NOT permitted in the park), and bear-proof food storage containers. All 4 group sites are within easy walking distance to water spigots and restrooms. Showers and laundry facilities may be found at the Rio Grande Village Store within easy walking distance of the group sites.
