Ranch 3232 is located half way between Johnson City and Dripping Springs and a mile and a half from Pedernales State Park. It's location makes Ranch 3232 a perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, chill out and relax, or explore everything that surrounds Ranch 3232 – ranging from museums to art galleries, wineries and breweries, golf and boating, hiking and biking, or eating and drinking – all within 20 to 30 minutes away.
Encompassing nine acres of beautiful heavily wooded and rolling Hill Country terrain, Ranch 3232 is home to a unique glamping experience with cabins, casitas, a glamping tent, and RV sites.
In late 2018 Ranch 3232 was new and still a work in progress with improvements being made every day. When w visited in December 2018, read our article on our stay at Ranch 3232, Ranch 3232 had built showers and a laundry room and they were just about to finish a new community kitchen. Other improvements and amenities are planned.
When we stayed at Ranch 3232 we didn't want to cook so and we enjoyed some good meals in both nearby Johnson City and Dripping Springs.
We had planned to visit Johnson City on Monday to have breakfast and lunch and visit the Science Mill, some of the LBJ historical sites, check out an art gallery, and sip some wine at a couple of the local breweries. Turns out that everything was closed during the winter on Mondays and Tuesdays. So we headed to the bar and had lunch and then enjoyed a beautiful hike to Pedernales Falls State Park, which is a mile and a half from Ranch 3232.
When we went into Johnson City for dinner at Pecan Street Brewing we were surprised to find the city packed with people admiring over 1 million Christmas Lights - it was beautiful!
Tuesday we were going to stop in Dripping Springs on the way home and sample some wine, vodka, and craft beer but all of them were also closed on Monday and Tuesday!
Can't wait to come back and do all of that on a Saturday!

Ranch 3232 is a perfect location to explore some of the Hill Country and all that it has to offer. The Ranch is 15 minutes from Dripping Springs or Johnson City; three minutes from Pedernales State Park for hiking or biking; 30 minutes to Lake LBJ for boating, swimming, or fishing and some excellent golf courses; and 45 minutes to Fredericksburg and all that it has to offer - Enchanted Rock, wineries, breweries, shopping, golf, lots of music, and several good restaurants.
Dripping Springs and Johnson City are home to some good restaurants, historical sites, Deep Eddy Vodka distillery, several wineries, a few shops, lots of art galleries, breweries, and a lot more - it's impossible to get bored if you're visiting when all of that is open!
