Reveiw and Rating of Padre Palms RV Resort in Corpus Christi
Padre Palms is located about 15 minutes south of downtown Corpus at the end of a small residential street that ends at Corpus Christi Bay. With convenient access to the freeway, Padre Palms is a good place to stay if you want to explore Corpus, the beaches, the National Seashore, or take a short drive to Port Aransas.
The park facilities are a little dated but very clean, the service is country friendly, the sites are side by side, and the sites and roads are paved. A few palm trees offer limited shade to some of the sites.
We will stay at Padre Palms if we want to explore Corpus and the surrounding area. Padre Palms is very close to some Corpus Christi golf courses, the beaches on the Gulf, the Bay for all sorts of water activities, the Padre Island National Seashore, and one of our favorite towns (Port Aransas) and favorite golf courses.
Padre Palms is about 15 minutes from downtown Corpus and all the attractions, restaurants, and nightlife. Along the Corpus Christi waterfront is one of our favorite places to ride bikes - it's an easy wide paved path along the bay, past the beautiful boats in the Corpus Christi Marina, and to some of the Corpus attractions.
We also like to head over to Bird Island as well as the Bob Hall Pier to watch the windsurfing and kiteboarding. Nearby Doc's and Snoopy's on the Bay has ok fried seafood and is an excellent setting for drinks and watching the sunset.
