Review of Lakeview RV Resort – Houston
Lakeview RV Resort opened in 2005 and is ranked as one of Texas Outside's favorite parks and has a 5W rating from Woodalls – only 3% of the nations RV parks receive that excellent rating. The park sits on 28 acres with 251 sites, 17 travel trailers, and 15 park models. Not many other parks in Texas have that few sites on that many acres – meaning you don't feel like you're jam packed next to your RV neighbor.
The park is built around a small fishing lake and some of the premium sites front the lake. All of the roads are wide, paved, and it's easy to navigate big rigs to and from the sites. Lakeview RV Resort prides itself on it's cleanliness and attention to detail – the park and cabins are immaculate. The staff is friendly and helpful. Pets are welcome.
Access to the park is gated and security throughout the park is top notch. You'll find some nice amenities within the park and Lakeview RV Resort has easy access to downtown Houston (5 miles) and other Houston attractions.

We stayed at Lakeview RV Park because it was so convenient to some of the things that we wanted to see and do in Houston. We visited the Zoo, Museum of Natural Science, and rode bikes on some of the 95 miles of hiking and biking trails in Memorial Park. We have also played golf at several of the nearby Houston courses. And after a full day of golf and biking, the hot tub at Lakeview was the perfect place to end a fun day and relax the muscles. Soaking in the hot tub gets us ready to head out for a good meal and some music or other fun nighlife.
In addition to the nice amenities within the park, you have very easy access to downtown Houston and all that Houston has to offer. Some of the fun things to do with 20 minutes of the park include: Reliant Stadium and Minute Maid Park for sporting and special events; several museums (Museum of Fine Arts, Holocaust Museum, Museum of Natural Science, and more); a great zoo; horse, greyhound, and motor sport racing; several parks, including Herman Park, for biking, jogging, or picnicking; and lots more.
