Coleto Creek Park and Reservoir, located midway between Victoria and Goliad, is a joint project between Coleto Creek Power and the Guadalupe Blanco River Authority and sits on the banks fo the 31000 surface acre Coleto Creek Reservoir which has 61 miles of shoreline and an average depth of 11 feet. The lake is good for fishing, skiing, boarding, and swimming.
The Park opened in 1981 for year-round outdoor recreation opportunities consists of 190 acres, of which approximately 40 acres have been developed.
The road leading to and around the campsites is dirt but big enough for large rigs to maneuver.
Unfortunately, we pulled in late one afternoon and had to leave early the next morning so we didn't have time to enjoy the park or any of the amenities. Or take any pictures.

What got us going early in the morning was a tee time at Colony Creek Country Club in Victoria - here is our link to the review of Colony Creek golf course.
Just outside the park is Lost Cajun and from what we hear they serve some good Cajun food.
