Review & Rating of Austin Lone Star RV Resort in Austin, Texas
Austin Lone Star RV Resort sets the standard for what all private parks should aspire to become. This is a great National Award Winning Park located about 12 miles south of Austin on IH 35. Some of what makes Austin Lone Star one of Texas Outside's favorite campgrounds includes: good amenities; well treed, landscaped, and shaded sites; spacious and level parking pads; individual showers and bathrooms; friendly and helpful staff; and a property that is well maintained.
If you're coming to explore Austin and the surrounding area, Austin Lone Star RV Resort is a great place to stay. It's on the IH 35 frontage road with easy access either north or south.
Access to the campsites is gated and requires a code to enter 24 hours a day. After registering you'll be guided to your site. The roads through the park are paved but the sites are crushed gravel. Big rigs shouldn't have any trouble getting into the pull-through sites.
