Review of Texas Lakeside RV Resort – Port Lavaca
It's always exciting to find and stay at a new luxury RV resort in Texas, and Texas Lakeside RV Resort is one of those that we couldn't wait to visit – and we weren't disappointed. The Park opened in 2012 and was designed to exceed the highest ratings from Woodalls and Good Sam – we would imagine that it will be rated a 10/10/10.
The Park's motto is "Where the Country Meets the Coast" because Texas Lakeside is located on the outskirts of Port Lavaca and just minutes from the Gulf Coast and all it has to offer for boating, fishing, or building sand castles on the beach.
Texas Lakeside RV Resort is what we consider a luxury RV resort designed for big rigs and loaded with amenities for guests to enjoy. The Park is gated (including security cameras) with paved with 24 foot wide roads that lead to long, level, paved full hook-up sites.
Texas Lakeside RV Resort has done a great job of landscaping – they've added 28 oak trees along the lake, all of the areas between the sites are grass, there is a berm with over 400 bottle brush surrounding the perimeter of the park which when the bottle brush mature will form a 10 foot privacy barrier. And more landscaping is planned.
The staff is friendly, outgoing, and dedicated to ensuring that your stay at Texas Lakeside RV Resort is enjoyable and memorable. The park is clean and well maintained and the facilities are first class – you'll walk out of the bathrooms impressed with the tile and cherry wood accents and the fitness equipment is some of the latest and greatest.
