Review & Rating of Creek Harbor Fish Camp
Eagle Mountain Lake is one of Texas Outside’s favorite lakes and there are only a couple places to camp on the lake. One of them is Creek Harbor Fish Camp on the north east side of the lake. Creek Harbor Fish Camp is located in a small cove and offers day use for fishing/picnicking/boating, tent camping, RV sites, and fishing cabins. The campsites are located on the edge of the lake on a small peninsula with great views of the lake and limited shade trees. Half of the cabins are set back from the water and under some shade trees, the other half are a little closer to the end of the cove and the boat dock.
Creek Harbor Fish Camp is not a luxurious RV park, but is adequate for some camping on the lake or overnight stays in some rustic cabins.

We love Eagle Mountain Lake and usually start the day by heading to the south end of the lake for some smooth water for boarding, cruising by the beautiful homes, or to anchor in the cove for swimming, eating, and games.
We also typically spend a fun evening at The Spot, Kelly's Cove, or Auggies with food, drinks, and music/karaoke. Each year in August, we come to Eagle Mountain Lake for the annual tie-up - wow, what a fun and wild event as over 100 boat tie-up together and party. To learn more about the tie-up check out this Eagle Mountain Lake Tie-Up Article
Before we leave, we'll make every effort to play golf at the nearby The Golf Club at The Resort - a fantastic course and a Texas Outside favorite - read the review to learn more about this outstanding course.
Creek Harbor Fish Camp is somewhat isolated at the north end of the lake, so you primarily come here to camp and enjoy the lake. However, about a mile down the road is one of Texas Outside's favorite golf courses, The Golf Club at The Resort. You can learn more about The Resort plus easily locate other nearby courses and read our golf course reviews in the Golfing Section of Texas Outside. A little farther down the road is Eagle Mountain Park - a 400 acre preserve with hiking/walking trails.
We also enjoy the restaurants and bars on Eagle Mountain Lake - all of which you can easily boat or drive to. We really enjoy Kelly's Cove - fabulous deck overlooking the marina and lake, ok food, live music or karaoke, and a fun crowd. To learn more about what to see and do on Eagle Mountain lake, read our Eagle Mountain Lake Review. If you don't have a boat, then check the Eagle Mountain Lake Review or the Boat Rentals Page to see if there are any Eagle Mountain Boat Rentals - last we checked there were not any.
