Kingwood Cove is a down-to-earth course that can be played and enjoyed by "Nicky New Golfer" or a "Wanttobe A Pro Willie." The course is lined with tall pines, mostly flat, fairly open, and there are not many hazards to frustrate the average golfer. The front nine doesn't have a lot of character as most holes are perfectly straight and not real challenging. The back nine is more interesting with some sharp doglegs and it requires more strategy and good club selection. Overall, Kingwood Cove is a little dated, in above average condition, and an excellent value. If you're looking to get out, have a good round, and not challenge your mental or physical game, you will enjoy Kingwood Cove.
