If you are looking for a great course with a good value where you can have a relaxing round of golf, then you need to try Riverchase Golf Club. Riverchase is relatively short from the tips (6593) but has water that can come into play on 14 out of 18 holes. You can see the pin from almost every tee box so you can know what you've got to do to score well – just keep it straight, avoid the bunkers, and putt well – how easy is that!!!! On a lot of the holes, you can blast away with the driver and come very close to the green. The terrain is mostly flat with a few trees and houses line most of the holes on one side and fairways line the other side.
The fairways are fairly narrow, but if the rough is cut thin, you shouldn't have trouble if you miss the fairway – except for the water. There aren't a lot of fairway bunkers but most of the greens have a least one bunker waiting for your second shot. The greens are not cookie cutter, vary in size and shape, and were fast and in great condition when we played.
The front nine is fun but lacks character and variety. The back nine is much better with some really good holes, a couple dog legs, and more variety. You can score well on this course and have an enjoyable and relaxing round at a fair price. Better yet, you can play another round (if space is available) for the price of a cart – can't beat that! After your round, relax and catch up on your sports news at the 19th hole, which is equipped with seven high definition televisions, the largest screen is 100 inches
