Sherrill Park #1

Sherrill Park is owned by the city of Richardson and has 36 holes. Sherrill Park #1 was redone in 1997 and the redesing added a lot of new variety in shot making choices. This 18 holes is traditionally in better condition and seems to be the more popular of the two courses. We like #1 but it's not one of our favorites because the holes are not that different and not as challenging as we would like them. We are clearly in the minority because in 2006 the Dallas Morning News rated Sherrill Park #1 course as #13 in their Top 25 Best Daily Fee Courses. The course is well treed, has a couple fun holes, and is a excellent value.
