Join Hill Country Conservancy in celebrating National Public Lands Day with a day of planting at Pecan Springs Karst Preserve! National Public Lands Day is the nation’s largest, single-day volunteer effort for public lands bringing together volunteers to improve and enhance public lands across the country.
We need enthusiastic volunteers to help us plant native grasses and trees along Pecan Springs, and we can’t do it without you. This is your chance to make a tangible impact on our environment and have a great time doing it. Activities may include digging holes for native seedlings, caging young trees for protection, and watering newly planted areas.
Meet like-minded nature lovers, learn about local conservation efforts, and enjoy the beauty of Pecan Springs Karst Preserve. Water, snacks, and all necessary tools will be provided by Hill Country Conservancy.
